Kato-AS?

I have many mixed feelings about this picture...
The sketch I just began not knowing what intended to do with it- then (because I'm obsessed right now) I somehow tried to make it into Kato

^^' haha I cheated quite a bit- I knew if I tried to draw a face it wouldn't like him at all, so I made it as vague as I could while still making it 'pretty'. I ws pretty proud of it at first (because I have no pictures to draw from, I sorta just have to remember what kato looks like...which is hard...but now that I actually got a pic I'm kinda disspointed...
it's almost like halfway deformation o.o T.T

still, I guess it turned out alright- I am happy with the details, and the expression- the cross rod was real pain, but I finally got it balanced out
I like the pose, and the angle- I origionally had a much more messy sketch but I was able to trace what I wanted with my light-table and make a much more 'clean' sketch

I hair I like, and the legs- good lord I finally drew O.K. legs! I wasn't going to finnish the first one because I couldn't do anything at all with a pose- then somehow something worked out. ^^'

one last note- I added the cigarette last minute (NO I do NOT condone using drugs-bad bad bad!) but Kato is a drug addict (or was..really) and the hand seemed kinda funny to be in that pose and not be holding something...it made me think if one of those chibi neko character pictures....and I don't think a stick of pocky would look right...But if you want to believe he lit the end of a pocky stick on fire for the picture be my guest. ^__^
